We were seated immediately. Right after the lunch hour so not really busy. About 5 other tables full in the restaurant. Very clean and friendly wait staff. They served a small warm loaf of rye/wheat mixed bread as an appetizer. Bourbon Chicken sandwich was very good and juicy, not dry like some places. Fries were plenty and the pickles are spicy with a bit of a kick, but very good. They have a a very nice bar area with a great outside patio. Restrooms were very clean. Food was great, service was good. Overall experience ... I will definitely return.

Three of us came here looking for steak dinner. I read some mixed reviews and was hoping things had improved. After our meal, it deserves a solid 3-star in my book. The good: steaks were excellent Two of us has filets and the other had the flat iron steak. My broccoli side dish was perfect. Needs work: I don't believe they are using real butter for the bread and baked potatoes. Our baked potatoes weren't very hot. Bad: Our red wine was served at 80 degrees. It did not enhance the meal

First time here. Tuesday evening, less than half capacity. Ordered the pulled pork, with cole slaw, mashed red potatoes, & baked beans. Nothing tastes fresh, potatoes were just like I buy at the grocery store, coleslaw was good may have been made fresh, tough call on that, baked beans definitely worth ordering again. I would totally skip the pulled pork next time. I find it hard to believe they make it in house, portion size was fair, but the meat was awful. I won't go on and on, just skip the pulled pork if you come here. I probably would have been happier at the "neighborhood grill" across the street.

Stopped by here for some steak and ribs. The steak was good, the ribs were fall off the bone tender. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon after the church crowd cleared out so the place was fairly empty. Smelled like the wood fire grill inside & out The waitress was very pleasant & food was fast. The Bacon wrapped shrimp I had was awesome as well as the baked bean, everything else seems pretty bland. I'd come back & eat here every once & a while for a change of pace.

Maybe if you drank out of a Whiskey Creek this place would be good. The food taste and looks like it came right out of the package, into the microwave, and onto your plate. The best thing about this place is the peanuts which you can throw on the floor.

I must have come on a bad night. First off, we were told there would be a wait... Which would be fine, but sitting in the entryway for 10 minutes listening to the two hostesses debate over whether or not so seat us was really off putting. Not to mention, there was a lit up neon sign outside reading, "Immediate Seating". When we were brought to our table, we noticed that half the place was empty. We got our food pretty fast, but my brisket was cold and not very good. My fries were soggy and cold too. Based on my experience, I'd say stay away from this place.

This site use to be an old Country Kitchen. What a face lift! Turning itself into a franchise steak house! You'll love the atmosphere. Wood floors, cowboy/rancher theme with peanuts and bread! Gives you a down home comfy feel. I don't give it a five...simply because it doesn't have a "wow" factor to it with the food. The food is still good, but its typical steak house food. It's a franchise..BUT..this one specifically has OUTSTANDING service. The owner and management clearly do a good job passing these skills down to each server. I've been here probably 5 or 6 times and have YET to come away with a negative experience. Menu favorites: Cobb Salad.....HUGE!! Full of all the good stuff bacon lovers! Rattle Snake Pasta.....fantastic pasta dish. Jim Beam Sirloin....not always available. But here's your sirloin! Bacon Wrapped Shrimp....mmmmm great combo appetizer!

We had an early dinner Wednesday. We both had steak and it was great/ baked beans were outstanding and the bread!!! Nicole was our waitress and she was so nice!!! The peach cobbler is to die for but we were to full to try.......Thank You WhiskeyCreek!!!! :)

What a great place to eat! Peanuts and bread while you wait. Then came my steak that was cooked to perfection. I had a loaded baked potato. Yum! The BBQ beans are sweet and tasty. The best part was the awesome peach cobbler! Divine! This was a great plan and set the tone for a great evening! I will be back!

I saw this place while visiting Mason City Ia, and sure glad I stopped. You can smell the meat cooking on the wood fire grill from a mile away! Waitress was great and the Baby Backs were fantastic as well as the firecracker shimp. Good food and fast service makes this a 4 and a half star rating. When I come back I hope to try the pulled pork. The bread pudding was also great!
